SPRAVATO® (esketamine) Treatment
Asclepius LLC offers SPRAVATO® (esketamine) nasal spray, an FDA-approved prescription treatment administered in a certified healthcare setting under medical supervision.
Who It's For
SPRAVATO® is indicated for adults with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and for depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with acute suicidal ideation or behavior, when used according to FDA-approved prescribing guidelines.
What to Expect
Treatment is provided in our office following a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to determine clinical appropriateness. Patients are monitored for at least two hours after each treatment due to potential risks, including sedation, dissociation, respiratory depression, and changes in blood pressure.
Patients must arrange transportation home and should not drive or operate machinery until the following day after a restful sleep.
SPRAVATO® REMS Program
SPRAVATO® is available only through the SPRAVATO® REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) Program and is administered under appropriate clinical supervision.
SPRAVATO® is not appropriate for everyone. Eligibility, treatment frequency, potential risks, benefits, medication interactions, and alternative treatment options are reviewed individually with each patient.
